We are looking to appoint a Research Administrator to work within the treatment resistant depression research clinic at the Warneford Hospital (https://oxfordhealthbrc.nihr.ac.uk/our-work/treatment-resistant-depression/) led by Professor Michael Browning. The clinic assesses patients with difficult to treat depression and manages their treatment during clinical research studies, and is part of a national network of research clinics supported by the NIHR funded Mental Health Mission. You will be based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford. The post is full-time; however, consideration would be given to candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 80% FTE) on a pro-rata basis.
The post is for a fixed term (funded to 31 January 2028).
You will provide project management support to a research clinic and associated research projects, devising and implementing administrative systems and procedures for collection and collation of clinic activity. You will be involved in data collection from patients attending the clinic, and will also liaise with the informatics team in the development of patient databases, and manage ethics submissions.
You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent, with excellent administrative and project management skills. With experience of data collection from patients and/or participants in research settings, you will have an understanding of GDPR and confidentiality. Knowledge of academic institutions would be desirable, as would experience of data entry and management of data sets.
