The School of Health are excited to announce the opportunity for passionate and qualified professionals to join our team as a Lecturer in Psychological Therapies and Mental Health.
We are seeking individuals to contribute significantly to our academic portfolio through high-quality, inclusive teaching and the advancement of our research objectives. You will be part of a team of academics delivering an expanding portfolio of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in mental health, counselling, and psychotherapy.
The key responsibility of the post is to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contribute to the development and delivery of our growing curriculum, engage in individual or collaborative research projects, provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a rich learning environment. Alongside a deep understanding of contemporary practices and policies in counselling and mental health services, the successful candidates will be required to have as a minimum a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject ideally supplemented with a relevant professional registration, for example HCPC, NMC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP.
