Commitment to Diversity
The University of Liverpool is committed to enhancing workforce diversity. We actively seek to attract, develop, and retain colleagues with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We welcome applications from all genders/gender identities, Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic backgrounds, individuals living with a disability, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Senior Lecturer in Dental Public Health. The post would be suited to an individual holding a less than full-time substantive NHS Consultant in Dental Public Health post (although this is not essential), in which case the salary would be paid on the equivalent of the NHS Consultant scale for England.
You will lead the development and delivery of public health teaching for undergraduate dental and dental therapy students in the School of Dentistry. You will work collaboratively with a committed team of dental educators in the school, to deliver a highly innovative curriculum. There will also be opportunities to contribute to postgraduate teaching and, where experience and qualifications permit, research supervision.
You should have a Postgraduate Degree (MD or PhD) or equivalent in a relevant area, or be near completion and you should have a full registration with the UK General Dental Council as a dentist.
This is a part-time post at 0.5FTE.
Please see the job description and person specification for further details. Informal enquiries are welcomed and should be addressed to Professor Vince Bissell, Dean of the School of Dentistry v.bissell@liverpool.ac.uk.
