The post requires the applicant to carry out data collection and analysis using a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to ensure the successful development of SuperPenguin, a novel digital therapeutic solution for families with children who stammer to improve speech therapy outcomes and service efficiency within the NHS. The usability and acceptability of the SuperPenguin app will be assessed with parents of children who stammer and NHS speech and language therapy staff in each NHS trust via qualitative interviewing. The successful applicant will support the design, organisation and delivery of elements of the research project, management of data collection and data analysis. They will prepare high-quality publications, conference papers and other outputs resulting from the project. You will liaise with key NHS staff, the clinical trials unit and parents of children who stammer.
