Due to the increase in workload across sites we are seeing to recruit, a Gardener/General Handyperson.

This is required to ensure that the external University environment is clean and tidy at all times. Duties and responsibilities will include general grounds maintenance/repairs and general gardening duties and removal of litter. The post holder will also be required to assist other general assistants and caretakers as necessary. Work experience in a service environment is essential.

The successful candidate will also be expected to undertake training to achieve appropriate qualification/s e.g. an up-to-date understanding of Health and Safety regulations relating to machinery.
