We welcome applications from talented Digital twins and ontology developers to join our research team to participate on the building innovative ecosystem for UK transport decarbonisation.
About the Role
This work is part of TRANSIT project TransiT - Digital Twinning for the Decarbonisation of UK Transport. You will apply ontology and machine learning to advance smart transportation systems. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will help design, develop, and integrate ontologies and machine learning models to support rapid decarbonization across Road, Rail, Air, and Maritime transport.

About You
You will have a doctorate (or be near completion) in a relevant field, with experience in developing ontologies, knowledge graphs, and machine learning. Strong software design and development skills will enable immediate contributions to project goals. Expertise in training methods and knowledge of manufacturing processes are advantages, along with a growing record of publications in high-quality journals.
