This is a great opportunity for a Finance Operations Manager to join the University MVLS’s Finance Office.
The post holder will be responsible for managing and leading the College Finance Operations Function, ensuring the delivery of service excellence to both internal and external customers whilst delivering exceptional value to enable the College to meet its strategic goals and remain financially sustainable.
This role will be a key contributor to driving forward and embedding a programme of process improvement by challenging the status quo of existing University Finance processes and procedures, delivering business efficiencies and ensuring adherence to financial control frameworks and compliance with University Policy.
The post holder will be responsible for developing the skills and capability of the team through effective recruiting, coaching, training and mentoring. You will also work closely with the Deputy Head of Finance to develop robust succession planning across the department.
