About the role:

We are currently seeking a Programme Manager to join our Construction and Building Services Department at Tresham College through;

  • Leading the management of the operation and development of the Curriculum within a defined programme area.
  • Leading the management of Learning, Teaching, and Assessment (LTA) of programmes to ensure students experience high quality teaching and learning.
  • Representing your department/function at local and Group levels
  • Ensuring the effective management and performance of your team within the directorate and oversee a high-quality provision from the team
  • Ensuring the achievement of both TBCG and departmental strategies and workplans
  • Ensuring all Statutory requirements, policies and procedures are in place and effectively communicated, implemented and followed by all employees of TBCG
  • Carrying out out all aspects of the role in line with TBCG culture and values
  • Ensuring the student experience is kept at the heart of everything your Directorate does

Abut you:

  • A Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent in a trade specific subject area
  • English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent (L2)
  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
  • Hold an Assessor Award e.g D32/33, TAQA, A1Relevant work experience in the sector to underpin subject leadership with credibility and authority
  • Recent experience of successful management/ team leadership in Further Education
  • Experience of teaching successfully across a range of levels
  • Knowledge and experience of quality assurance systems in Further Education
  • Experience of using IT systems and data to manage, monitor and improve courses
  • Desirable Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job roleAbility to effectively lead and manage a team of professionals
  • Ability to promote the College’s outstanding reputation and carry out College business appropriately and professionally at all times
