Description
IE University invites applicants who are committed to an academic legal career in an international and innovative environment to apply for 4 full-time, tenure-track, faculty positions at IE Law School. The appointment will begin September 1, 2025.
Position details
We are seeking to appoint 4 Assistant Professors in Law.
Candidates should have an original and relevant research agenda and the ability to develop a strong record of high-impact publications in their fields.
Candidates should also have the ability to achieve excellence in their teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to develop innovative and relevant courses within their area of expertise and to teach at least one of the courses of the school’s core curriculum, at either undergraduate or postgraduate level.
English is the primary language of instruction within the school’s core curriculum, with most courses being imparted from a transnational or comparative law perspective.
Areas of expertise
The call is open to candidates from all areas of legal expertise. The deliberately broad scope of this call aligns with the school's commitment to attracting top talent and expanding the size and diversity of its faculty.
Although we welcome applications from candidates with expertise in any area of law, we are particularly interested in hearing from legal scholars working in the following fields:
