This role is office-based with our partner provider at their London campus.
Who we’re looking for:
Plymouth Marjon University is currently seeking a Partner Link Tutor to work with one of our academic partners, delivering a range of Business programmes. The ideal candidate for the role should possess a strong background in academia with a clear understanding of implementing university regulations, policies, and procedures. They should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to provide guidance and support to collaborative partners. A strong grasp of curriculum development, assessment methodologies, and learning enhancement strategies is essential. Prior experience in academic advising, programme development, and engagement with accrediting bodies would be highly advantageous. The candidate should be organised, able to work autonomously, and hold a commitment to maintaining high academic standards. A relevant postgraduate qualification in business or a related field is preferred, along with previous experience in a similar academic liaison or partnership management roles.
What you’d be doing:
You will be responsible for providing day to day academic advice and support to our collaborative partners on various matters including induction of students, teaching, assessment and implementation of Marjon policies and procedures. You will facilitate engagement with External Examiners, and alignment to academic events (such as exam boards) ensuring compliance with university standards and procedures. You will oversee assessment processes and design, conduct programme monitoring, and the development of curriculum and learning enhancement strategies. You will work with the partner to ensure key feedback mechanisms, such as Programme Voice Panels, occur, and maintain communication channels between the partner institution and the university. The main goal of the role is to foster successful collaborative partnerships by ensuring alignment with university standards, promoting academic excellence, and enhancing the overall learning experience for students.
