The Faculty of Social and Life Sciences is a thriving teaching and research environment looking to build its undergraduate and postgraduate student population. The North Wales Business School (NWBS) forms a key part of the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences. The department delivers a range of high-quality business programmes. Applicants with qualifications in Management fields are particularly sought at this time. Possessing a PhD or working towards is essential for this post. We seek enthusiastic individuals who are able to draw on their own Management roles to bring learning to life with relevant examples. Therefore, Wrexham University (WU) seeks to appoint professionals with the relevant experience to develop and deliver programmes and modules relevant to the contemporary workforce.
The post holder will be expected to deliver within a wide range of programmes within NWBS and the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences as appropriate. There is an emphasis on making learning active and applicable to real work settings and it is developed through written assignments and practical relevant work-based tasks. Teaching will include variety of modules including management on undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and would be expected to help support delivery across the whole business school portfolio where needed. The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the development of contemporary business programs and modules at WU, working collaboratively, flexibly and collegially within a team and will demonstrate innovation through the design of the curriculum informed by research and relationships with external partners from relevant sectors. The post holder will have a master's Level Qualification, hold professional membership / accreditation where relevant and be committed to further professional and academic development in order to continually improve the curriculum offer.
