About the Role
Applications are invited for the role of Postgraduate Programmes Administrator to work in a busy student-centred environment within the School of Business and Management performing a selection of tasks associated with the delivery of teaching at postgraduate levels. Tasks include will deliver programme and module administration alongside process improvements, manage and coordinate the student administration systems and processes to enhance the student-academic cycle of activities, coordinate tasks in the areas of teaching timetables, seminar allocations, student attendance, and student support, serving as a champion for students’ academic needs and interests and work as an effective team player.

As a member of the Postgraduate Programmes Team within the Professional Services Team, the post-holder will enhance the student-academic cycle through proficient use of technical and critical skills in programme administration, ensuring high levels of student service and adherence to academic regulations. Responsibilities include managing student enquiries, supporting the development and delivery of teaching timetables, maintaining accurate records of student activities and performance, and facilitating communication between staff and students. The role also involves working closely with the Quality Assurance and Student Engagement Teams, participating in school and university events, ensuring compliance with data security policies, and engaging in continuous professional development to support the School's commitment to educational excellence.

About You
You should be educated to Degree level or equivalent or equivalent relevant experience. You should have experience in programme administration and detailed knowledge and understanding of higher education institutional procedures, regulations and codes of practice on student administration.

The post holder will respond to and plan for the growing demands of the School’s staff and increasing student expectations in relation to programme administration.
