Are you an experienced Business Development professional? Within the AMRC Training Centre, we have an exciting opportunity for a leader who has a passion for building partnerships and is looking to make an impact on the future workforce of the advanced manufacturing and engineering sector.

We are looking for someone with a strong business to business sales background and a good understanding of apprenticeship funding and delivery. As a Business Development Manager, you will be a leader who possesses sales, events and account management expertise.

We are seeking candidates with substantial and proven business development experience. As this role involves commercial programme responsibility, you will need experience/knowledge of the advanced manufacturing and engineering sector.

You will have excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. You should also have the ability to interpret and utilise data, which will allow you to develop and implement a robust sales strategy and associated activities.

You will be joining a highly -regarded and well-connected Business Development team who successfully manage over 400 employer relationships locally, regionally and nationally. You will use your proven leadership skills to provide essential support to the Business Development Executives, helping to maintain and grow this network whilst ensuring the high-quality reputation of the Training Centre. You will implement core account management functions as well as initiate new business development opportunities which meet the needs of our stakeholders. In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for commercial activity and will have the opportunity to work alongside our curriculum teams and employer partners to design and deliver robust training and upskilling packages for the engineering and manufacturing workforce.
