Faculty of Environmental Science and Economy
The above full-time AKT post is available immediately, on a fixed term basis, for 4 months with the clothing company, Finisterre and the Engineering Department at the University of Exeter.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
An exciting opportunity has become available to work on a 4 month Accelerated Knowledge Transfer (AKT) project between the University of Exeter and Finisterre.
The successful candidate will be employed by the University of Exeter and based at the University with some travel to Finisterre’s offices.
The project will centre on the recycling process of wetsuits.
About you
Applicants should have a degree in Science, or engineering, and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of material science. They should have excellent communication and problem skills.
