About Us

We are Residential Life; we oversee and manage the Halls of Residence at the University of East London. We manage 1169 bedrooms for students, casual lettings and summer conferencing guests ensuring all residents have an enjoyable stay with us. We are the first point of contact for all residents and prospective residents. Residential Life comprises of several areas including Estates and summer conferencing operations.

About the Job

Supporting Residential Life’s Estates operations involved delivering a high quality of customer service, collaborating closely with internal and external partners and swiftly addressing any issues that may arise. The role entails providing key operational assistance to the Residential Life Officer – Estates Operations throughout the academic year and summer conferencing season.

About You

  • Experience of working in a customer focused service
  • Experience of working in within an Estates and Facilities role
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office and SharePoint (or equivalent) and financial management systems (including data entry skills)
  • Experience of client liaison and stakeholder management
