We are seeking for highly motivated Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor, for Department of Architecture at GITAM Deemed to be university, Visakhapatnam / Hyderabad,  India.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the next generation of architects, equipping them with the knowledge to design, plan, and build in ways that foster environmental responsibility and resilience.

Your role extends beyond the classroom. You will evaluate the effectiveness of our educational programs, supervise research and internships, and contribute to the ongoing development of our curricula. Through your work, you will help bridge the gap between green, blue, and grey infrastructures, guiding students in understanding how to optimize these elements at various scales—from streets and parks to entire neighborhoods and cities—to enhance urban resilience and sustainability.

About You

As a Faculty member, you will develop and design curriculum plans that not only foster student learning but also stimulate meaningful discussions and ensure active student engagement. You will provide guidance through tutoring and academic counseling, maintaining detailed records, and assessing student coursework, including hands-on projects in design studios.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with colleagues on research and co-curricular activities, contributing to the intellectual fabric of our institution. Your leadership in the field will inspire students, as you offer independent study opportunities, mentoring, and share your expertise through published work.
