This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
This new full-time post is available from the 4th of November 2024 on a permanent basis.
Summary of the role
Impact and Partnership Development (IPD) Officers for Apprenticeships Operations are responsible for supporting one or more of the degree apprenticeship activity portfolios. The Senior Administrator role covers areas such as Functional Skills, End Point Assessment, compliance with apprenticeship regulations, planning and ePortfolio use. You will be deployed in these areas or associated functions. You will be a key contact for the Centre for Degree Apprenticeships.
This role will be specifically responsible for coordinating all aspects of Functional Skills, as well as the recording of key apprenticeship information (OneFile); and initial assessment for new apprentices (BKSB and Cognassist). This will involve liaising with a range of academic and professional services stakeholders across all faculties, arranging and chairing meetings and working groups, and providing guidance, support and best practice. The post holder will maintain links with key contacts to identify market opportunities, providing verbal and written reports on a regular basis to stakeholders and development boards.
