Part Time Lecturer in School of Business Management & Law (BAL)

Faculty / Directorate

The Faculty of Business and Law in Dubai offers a range of programmes, including Undergraduate & Postgraduate programs in Business Management (Management, Leadership & Marketing), Accounting & Finance and Law. These programs aim to prepare and develop entrants to the corporate world at different levels with the knowledge and expertise to make a significant difference in the professional landscape.

Role

We are looking to appoint part time lecturer (s). You will be required to contribute to teaching a range of undergraduate & postgraduate modules in Business Management, Accounting & Finance and Law. Including but not limited to any specific modules in general management modules of Business Management, Marketing, Leadership, Accounting and Finance modules and Law modules.

Your teaching duties will consist of preparing and delivering lectures and seminars, feedback and office hours, marking, moderation, and other administrative tasks and organizational responsibilities. You will lead/manage/teach/assess modules at the undergraduate level. You will engage with students, the industry, and the academic community.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking applicants with expertise in the above-mentioned subject areas. To be familiar with delivering teaching and learning in higher education. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the University community. You will share DMU’s passion for providing outstanding and inclusive outcomes for all its students. Ideally, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in any of the subject areas mentioned above and a postgraduate degree in any of the related areas mentioned above. Industry experience will be an added advantage.
