We are looking to appoint an experienced administrator to provide support for a wide range of research projects for colleagues and postgraduate students in the School of English working in the areas of linguistics, medieval studies, literature, creative writing and drama.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and inclusive team who are committed to the smooth and efficient running of our School.

Your role will be varied and will include working with academic project leads to deliver research projects, events and activities in the School.  

You will have excellent communication skills, including minute taking and report writing, and a high level of IT skills (including Office 365), excellent data management skills (including financial processing and creating spreadsheets) as well as strong organisational skills. You will be a flexible and supportive team player who can work to tight deadlines using your recent experience of working in an administrative environment.  You will be able to work independently and confidently to follow and develop administrative processes and procedures.

The post is offered on a full-time (36.25 hours per week), permanent contract based in the School of English, Trent Building, University Park campus.
