Lodge Manager

Mansfield College wishes to appoint a Lodge Manager to play a vital role at the heart of its community.

The Lodge is operated by the Lodge Manager, who reports to the Domestic Bursar, and a team of full and part time staff who cover the operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year and are responsible for the security of the College at the main site on Mansfield Road, its associated properties and the safety of all students, members of staff and visitors alike.

The Lodge Manager’s role is a significant post presenting the face of the College to many groups that interact with them and their team. They are responsible for leading and managing the operation and ensuring our high professional standards are upheld.

The Lodge is customer facing providing a warm, friendly, helpful welcome to all and acts as the hub of the College community. The porters are always available for practical guidance and, alongside our welfare team, also offer support in signposting students to the correct wellbeing advice.
