Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home with up to 30 days per year spent at our Horizons office.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy and fast-paced Apprenticeships Team, to aid with supporting our apprenticeship students to reach their full potential! As an Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer, you will play a key part of apprentice’s programmes through the undertaking of high-quality progress monitoring, supporting both students and employers within an allocated caseload. Not only will you be motivating students but also engaging both apprentices and employers to ensure a high-quality apprenticeship provision which meets their needs and requirements.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Schedule, plan for and undertake high-quality progress monitoring and review activity for an allocated apprentice caseload.
  • Monitor apprentice’s participation in off-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and other factors within each allocated apprentice’s e-portfolio.
  • Contribute to apprentice on-boarding activities.
  • Support the implementation of outstanding Safeguarding practice.

Our main requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum level 2 Maths and English qualifications (grade C or above) – we will require evidence of this for Ofsted.
  • Experience monitoring and reviewing learner/apprentice progress.
  • Experience supporting learners/apprentices in identifying and setting SMART targets.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
