About the Position:

A research group led by Professor Kai Yin at Southern Medical University is seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be engaged in real-world research and basic research in gut microbiota and metabolic diseases under the supervision of Professor Kai Yin. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research linking clinical and basic science to understand the interactions between the gut microbiota and metabolic health.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research on gut microbiota and its role in metabolic diseases.
  • Design and perform experiments, collect and analyze data.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Clinical Medicine or closely related discipline.
  • Strong background in gut microbiota research, metabolic diseases or related fields.
  • Track record of research and publications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to PhD with technical expertise in metagenomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics.
