About the role

We are recruiting a Clinical Trials Manager with experience in running clinical trials of investigational medicinal products (CTIMPs). The candidate should also have a strong interest in mental health and psychopharmacology. The post is full-time and is funded for up to 4.5 years. Reporting to Prof Sunjeev Kamboj (principal investigator) and Anne Marie Downey, Head of Clinical Trials Operations in PRIMENT, the researcher will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary research team consisting of pharmacologists, neuroscientists, clinical trials specialists, clinical psychologists and medics. The appointee will manage all stages of the project, from trial setup to ongoing management and study close.

About you

We are looking for someone with a good degree in a healthcare or relevant science or equivalent experience in clinical trial management and a good understanding of the clinical trials regulations, including relevant guidelines and legislation. They should have excellent organisational and communication skills. Because the project involves the novel use of nitrous oxide in PTSD, the appointee should have experience in clinical trials of investigational medicinal products (CTIMPs). Although experience in mental health or psychopharmacology is not essential, a strong interest in these topics is crucial.
