Henley Business School’s International Business and Strategy Department is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in International Human Resource Management.

The role is aligned to a scholar establishing a strong reputation in international human resource management, who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of knowledge and shaping the future of research in the discipline.

The International Business and Strategy department aspires to remain at the forefront of research and teaching, through its contribution to the activities of the World of Work Institute - which aims to understand how businesses face the future of work by applying innovative research to real workplaces - and the Dunning Centre for International Business - one of the world's premier centres of international business and international human resource management with internationally renowned researchers, including Chris Brewster, Mark Casson, Davide Castellani, Rita Fontinha, Rajneesh Narula and Alain Verbeke.

Successful applicants:

  • Have a PhD in Management, or related fields.
  • Have a track record of published research in leading academic journals and are establishing an international reputation in international human resource management research.
  • Conduct research that complement the areas of expertise of the World of Work Institute and the Dunning Centre.
  • Have experience in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level (including post-experience programs) in the areas of international human resource management.
  • Work well in teams with colleagues across the business school.

The role will involve contribution to research, teaching and leadership.
