Background

The Postgraduate Career and Professional Development Team at Bayes Business School design and deliver the timetabled and credit bearing career management and employability skills curriculum, corporate engagement schedule and Student Business Clubs offering to Specialist Masters students and MBAs, providing a highly rated and highly ranked product which equips students to succeed throughout their career.

Responsibilities

The Careers Team Assistant supports operational and administrative aspects of service delivery for the MSc and MBA professional development curriculum and events. Key responsibilities include coordinating the professional development curriculum, managing workshop logistics, responding to student and employer queries, maintaining online resources, supporting career events and providing administrative support to the team. The role is the first point of contact for students and employers so the ideal candidate should be comfortable working with individuals at various levels of seniority.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be educated to A-Level standard and will have had experience of working in a busy client facing office environment. They must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines efficiently. Key skills include proactive problem-solving, clear communication with diverse stakeholders, meticulous attention to detail, basic data analysis, and strong organizational abilities. Commitment to delivering excellent client service is essential. Experience in higher education or public sector is beneficial.

The role is available from 04 November 2024 or earlier by negotiation.
