About You:

You are a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in a similar governance and compliance role within the higher education sector. Your values align with Metanoia’s commitment to inclusion. You are confident in managing all aspects of governance, legal compliance, and risk management, and you bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the governance framework of the institution, ensuring the effective functioning of the Board of Governors and its committees.
• Oversee compliance with relevant Institutional Regulations and standards, including those set by the Office for Students (OfS),
• Act as the institution’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring compliance with data protection legislation.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including regular risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal advice and support on institutional matters and promote a culture of ethical behavior and compliance across the institution.
