Lecturer in Veterinary Physiotherapy (Full-time (1.0FTE) Permanent)

Salary: Grade 9 - £38,205 to £42,978 per annum (The point of entry will be dependent upon relevant qualifications and experience)

The University seeks a highly motivated Veterinary Physiotherapist lecturer to join the team supporting delivery of Veterinary Physiotherapy teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Undertaking research within the field is also encouraged. 

The successful candidate will be required to support delivery around, but not limited to the following subject areas in both the canine and equine species:

• Introduction to Veterinary Physiotherapy.
• Management of the Companion, Working and Sporting Animal.
• Anatomy for Veterinary Physiotherapy.
• Evidence Based Rehabilitation.
• Small Animal and Large Animal Clinical Practice including equine clinic days.

Experience/Qualification required 

• An undergraduate degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in veterinary physiotherapy.
• Experience as a practicing veterinary physiotherapist in industry and/or academia.
• Experience in participation in the delivery of teaching or professional training at Higher Education level.
• In-depth knowledge of veterinary physiotherapy as a discipline.
