Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance

The role

You’ll lead on delivering excellent student recruitment events in priority markets, virtually and in-person. As the first point of contact for prospective students and those who support them within your region, you’ll represent LSE internationally. Working on undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment, you’ll use data, insights and market expertise to put together and deliver an exciting programme of activity within your region. You will also be responsible for delivering a programme of conversion activities, including the annual series of online events for offer holders known as ‘Destination LSE’.

The team

It’s an exciting time to join the Student Recruitment and Study Abroad team as we expand our international student recruitment work and develop more in-depth support for students and supporters in a diverse range of markets.

The Student Recruitment and Study Abroad team has primary responsibility for:

• Student recruitment: both UK and international, for undergraduate, graduate and study abroad programmes.
• The General Course: all pre-arrival and social aspects of the School’s year-long inbound study abroad programme.
• Global Opportunities (GO) LSE: all student facing aspects of the School’s reciprocal student exchange programme.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for candidates with the ability to lead on the development and implementation of the student recruitment strategy within their region to achieve the School’s applications targets.

Candidates must have:

• Experience of working to and delivering on student recruitment plans and targets.
• Confidence in working with senior staff and stakeholders and coordinating cross-institutional activities
• Ability to bring together data from multiple sources of quantitative and qualitative evidence to draw strategic conclusions, make recommendations and deliver change
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from a wide variety of backgrounds
