Background
The role holder will be responsible for support of the audio visual equipment throughout the University. This will include maintenance, repairs and providing technical support for users of audio visual equipment and related applications. Additionally the post holder will provide training and guidance to staff, students and external users in the use of audio visual equipment and related applications.
Responsibilities
You will maintain, check and repair audio visual equipment throughout the University, provide technical support for users of audio visual equipment and related applications. You will also train staff, students and external users in the use of audio visual equipment and related applications.
Person Specification
You should be educated to GCSE or equivalent with a good range of communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, you will have a good level of analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to use your own initiative and work independently. You will possess a wide range of technical skills to meet the requirements of the University technology, users and customers. Experience in tasks requiring customer contact would be advantageous.
