The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled Mental Health & Wellbeing Adviser to join our vibrant Ealing Campus in London.
As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Adviser, you'll provide safe, ethical, and high-quality support to students facing a wide range of wellbeing challenges. You'll manage a caseload of students dealing with complex mental health issues, including high-risk cases and safeguarding concerns. In this role, you'll also collaborate with the NHS and external services to ensure comprehensive care and provide follow-up support. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to develop and deliver wellbeing workshops, group sessions, and contribute to our online self-serve wellbeing portal.
As a vital member of Arden’s Wellbeing Service, you'll actively contribute to the development of new initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of our student body. You'll also play a key role in fostering an open culture around mental health and wellbeing within the Arden community by organizing and promoting student-focused events, campaigns, and activities. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team Leader, the broader wellbeing team, and colleagues across our professional and academic services.
About You:
We're looking for candidates with significant experience in a similar role, especially those who have delivered interventions across a broad and complex range of issues. Your passion for helping students overcome challenges, coupled with your ability to motivate and support individuals in managing and improving their wellbeing, will be crucial. A willingness to learn new skills and contribute to the ongoing development of our service is essential.
You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to prioritize and manage a varied workload. Experience in developing and delivering training sessions is highly valued. If you've worked as a mental health practitioner, we encourage you to apply.
