About the Role

As a key IT Change Delivery team member, the Project Analyst focuses on business process analysis, requirements gathering, and project management within waterfall and agile frameworks. Qualifications in Prince2 and Agile Methodology are highly desirable. Business Analysis skills are essential.

About You

The main duties and expectations of the role are listed below; however, they are not exhaustive. This role is designed to be a platform for your growth and development, offering significant opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in project management and business analysis.   • Lead workshops and interviews to document AS-IS and design TO-BE processes,
  • Create detailed process and customer journey maps, highlighting inefficiencies and improvements,
  • Gather and document comprehensive requirements from business units,
  • Ensure SaaS solution aligns with business needs, addressing system gaps,
  • Map on-premises functionalities to SaaS, identifying gaps and customisations,
  • Provide a functional mapping document for the technical team,
  • Maintain effective stakeholder communication and manage expectations,
  • Identify and manage risks, including data security and compliance,
  • Develop mitigation strategies for a secure migration,
  • Manage low/medium complexity projects, including status reporting,
  • Ensure accountability, escalate issues, and contribute to governance,
  • Assist in delivering benefits and manage resources efficiently.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Project Management and Business Analysis,
  • Project Analyst qualification (ISEB, PMI-PBA, CAP, EXBA/CCBA, SixSigma),
  • ITIL qualified with operational experience,
  • Proven experience in Business Analysis and Project Management, especially migrating on-prem solutions to SaaS,
  • Skilled in capturing/documenting business processes and requirements,
  • Experience in higher education or similar environments.

IT Services are dedicated to enabling transformational change, improving and maintaining complex operations, and delivering change. They support excellence in research and teaching through comprehensive services such as high-performance computing, data storage, desktop support, and digital solutions design, ensuring seamless IT experiences for students and staff.
