This full-time role sits within our Fine Art team.

The successful applicant will make a significant teaching contribution to our BA (Hons) Fine Art, in particular. This is an established programme with a strong reputation.

The School of Arts plans to increase opportunities for our Fine Art students to work with students on other creative programmes.

We are seeking a recognized contemporary art practitioner keen to develop a career within our School of Arts community, and in Bristol.

About you

You hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent industry experience in contemporary Fine Art and are committed to teaching and learning, research, enterprise, partnership and collaboration.

You are excited to join an experienced and ambitious Fine Art team and to teach students working across a very wide range of media and approaches.

You have the expertise and experience required to teach and assess on degree-level programmes and to work collaboratively within a School of Arts community.

With excellent communication skills, you are committed to inspiring and supporting students, and promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity. You are innovative and responsive to fast-changing Higher Education and arts sector needs, and you have a commitment to cross-disciplinary practice and collaboration. You are enthusiastic to deliver innovative learning experiences and facilitate students’ practices and learning in diverse settings.

This is a permanent post and is full-time working on a 1.0 FTE contract. This post is available on a job share basis.

This role is campus based for all your teaching, although it might be possible for some remote working for some research or administrative activities.
