About the role

This role is within the Great Service Programme whose focus is on delivering a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Solution, this role will enable delivery against a strategic roadmap and delivery plan so that Great Service to deliver the intended benefits. This programme is part of the Strategic Programmes and Change Portfolio.

What you would be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the delivery of the Great Service program. You will assist and enable the delivery of workstreams in the programme and continuous improvement of project management disciplines in line with the agreed project management methodology and standards. You will be responsible for supporting the monitoring and reporting of the overall status of programmes/projects into the relevant governance Board(s).

You will work closely with the PMO manager and programme team to monitor activities, gather and analyse date to support monitoring and management of the Great Service Programme. You will also support Change Manager(s) to develop and implement plans such as the change and communication plan, benefits realisation plan and assist monitoring monthly project financial processes, co-ordinating issues with Project Managers.

You may also act as secretariat for governance forums and design workshops, as well as support with pack creation and development of PMO controls and standards,

You will champion continuous improvement of project management disciplines seeking to influence the maturity level of how projects are delivered at Imperial College London. In addition, you will also be a member of the Strategic Portfolio Team, supporting building capability and learning in the wider team.

What we are looking for

  • A working knowledge of project administration and project lifecycles, including associated governance and reporting required
  • Project Management methodologies / techniques such as PRINCE2 or Agile practitioner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project and SharePoint skills
  • A champion of continuous improvement and collaboration

This is a Full time (35h p/w), 3-year fixed term contract, to see the programme through to completion based at our South Kensington Campus
