The Opportunity

This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join Prof Saeed Farooq’s team of Mental Health Research in Keele University’s School of medicine.  The successful candidate will work closely with the PI and his team to deliver communication activities across digital, printed, and face-to face channels to enhance the impact of academic research and outreach activities of the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to write, edit and proof-read a variety of communications, including: website and social media content, stakeholder briefings, news items and press releases, promotional materials, presentations, and other outputs that may be developed in support of Prof Saeed Farooq’s research team. You will have the opportunity to assist the research team to draft academic articles for peer reviewed journals.

You will also provide day-to-day project administration support to the team such as organising meetings, engagement events with external organisation and stakeholders, minute taking, collating, and formatting documents, booking travel and collating expenses. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with keen interest in social media and demonstrable experience in maintaining office systems within a research environment.
