Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Research Technician to join the section of Obstetrics and Gynaecology based at Chelsea and Westminster Campus.  The successful candidate will join the team under the supervision of Professor Mark Johnson.

Duties and responsibilities

The team provides support to clinical trials with novel diagnostic assays and through the processing and viable storage of clinical samples.  This role involves liaison with the NHS clinical staff and Research Nurses to process assays which translate into routine clinical practice.

Essential requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a biological science or related field is required. 
  • Previous laboratory experience
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety procedures are essential.

This is a Full Time and fixed term role until 2025, based at the Chelsea and Westminster first instance.
