The role

We are looking for two Receptionists to join our team to ensure customers receive the highest level of service from the Sports Centre Welcome Desks.

Creating a welcoming environment, this role will provide information, booking support, selling memberships and promoting the benefits of sport and physical activity.

Shift patterns:

18 hours per week:

Wednesday 7.45am-1.45pm Indoor Sports Centre - BS8 1TP

Friday 7.45am-1.45pm Indoor Sports Centre – BS8 1TP

Saturday 7.45am-1.45pm Coombe Dingle Sports Complex – BS9 2BJ

6 hours annualised:

6 hours per week with no set shift pattern. Hours are covering other staff members' holidays/absences and can be requested up to 6 weeks in advance.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a point of contact for customer enquires at the Welcome Desks
  • Interacting with the members of the public
  • Cash handing
  • Working with the Leisure Management System Legend

You should apply if

  • You have experience working in a busy multi-sport leisure environment putting customer service excellence at the heart of everything you do
  • You have a pro active, positive, ‘can do’ attitude and a flexible approach to tasks and workload
