The role
We are seeking an exceptional Dental Therapist to join our dental team and deliver outstanding education and team training to our undergraduate students at Bristol’s new state-of-the-art Dental School. Working within your Scope of Practice you will be responsible for the delivery of academic and clinical teaching to our undergraduates, working in an integrated teaching environment.
What will you be doing?
The appointee will be responsible for direct teaching and clinical supervision of specific areas within the Bachelor Dental Therapy (BDT) programme aligned to their expertise. Part of our education strategy is to have a strong emphasis on integrating learning across all disciplines and team training. For BDT students this concept starts in the Clinical Skills Simulation Clinic and culminates in direct patient care in a purpose-built General Practice Suite alongside the Final year BDS.
The role holder will undertake direct clinical supervision of students, along with other teaching and learning activities, working alongside other academic colleagues to deliver an outstanding student experience.
You should apply if
The successful candidate would ideally have experience of teaching, this may be at a practice-level, but should be able to demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for teaching.
