We are looking for a motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary research team to contribute to a study evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of a randomised controlled trial exploring a FAtigue-after-CriTical-illness (FACT) self management intervention.

The post is part-time (0.64 FTE) for 20 months. The role may be completed remotely however the successful applicant must have the right to work in the UK and be based in the UK for the duration of the appointment.

Qualifications required for post: PHD

Experience required for post: Substantial post-graduate experience

Overall purpose of post:   

The purpose of this post is to contribute to the implementation and day-to-day running of the multi-site feasibility trial which is exploring the feasibility and acceptability of conducting a randomised control trial evaluating a fatigue self-management intervention. Tasks will include liaising with the different research sites, assisting with recruitment, assisting with survey and interview data collection. Successful applicants will also be expected to contribute to interview and statistical data analysis, and report writing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and vibrant research collaboration between Oxford Brookes University, Oxford University, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, King's College London and Guys and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
