A Research Assistant position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Walid Khaled. The group uses multidisciplinary approaches to understand epithelial cell fate decisions during normal development and early stages of tumourigenesis. The lab is now focusing on how the whole tissue responds to tumour initiation. In particular, what is the role of the cell of origin and the stroma/immune microenvironment in shaping the developmental trajectory of nascent cancer cells.
