We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join the Administration team of Oxford Thermofluids Institute, Department of Engineering Science, located at Southwell Building, Osney Mead, OX2 0ES. The post is permanent and the part-time working hours are 21 hours per week, over 3 full-time days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
About The Role
You will be responsible for providing administrative & goods in support for the Southwell Lab as well as the day-to-day running of the OTI reception desk. This includes welcoming guests, answering the phone, processing purchase orders, checking/receipting deliveries and other administrative duties as detailed in the job description.
About You
You will have the ability to use standard computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel), have a good understanding of issues around confidentiality, possess the ability to understand and pass on accurate information and have attention to detail. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently but knowing when to refer matters to others. You should have experience in customer facing roles and/or administrative work.
