The Marketing and Student Recruitment team are looking for an exceptional and experienced individual to join the team as a Student Recruitment Regional Manager (International). This Manager will have responsibility for the following regions: South Asia, South East Asia and MENA.

The postholder will lead a team of ambitious recruitment professionals, based in the UK and overseas, to support the achievement of the University’s student recruitment strategy. Working with their team, the postholder will identify and explore market development opportunities, develop market plans and deliver activities in allocated regions in order to deliver on strategic objectives.

The postholder will drive recruitment from the allocated regions, by leading on managing a range of stakeholder relationships that include prospective students, parents, agents, overseas representative offices, sponsors, schools and academic departments within the institution.

You will be at the forefront of developing sector-leading recruitment activities that align with the University's recruitment strategy. These activities include exhibitions, school engagement, and institutional visits, in addition to offer-holder and pre-departure events. Activity will be a mix of in-person and virtual events.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing market intelligence data, reports, and advice to academic and professional service colleagues as needed. This includes monitoring application data during the recruitment cycle, creating ad hoc reports, and making recommendations to inform strategic planning and decision making and ensure a positive return on the budget allocated to the region.

Managing the regional budget and contributing proactively to marketing and communications projects and campaigns within the wider Marketing, Communications and Insights team are also key aspects of this role. You will use the assigned budget to shape and support strategic objectives, motivating and developing cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results.

The role will necessitate regular international travel, and flexibility in hours will be required for frequent periods of evening and weekend work.
