Role Description

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) remote role for a Researcher (Qualitative Analysis). You will contribute to the design and delivery of interviews and the other research relating primarily to qualitative data, working with the Senior Researcher (Qualitative) and the rest of the Bridge Group research team. While responsibilities will vary from project to project, they are likely to include helping to identify and design the most appropriate approach for a client, undertaking preparatory tasks, gathering data through fieldwork and delivering analysis that is equal to the rigour expected of peer-reviewed academic materials.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in qualitative research methods, including study design, data collection through interviews and surveys, and analysis
  • Good understanding of how qualitative social science research methods are used to explore social equality issues and an awareness of recent published work in this area
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously to strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in qualitative analysis software (e.g. NVivo)
  • Understanding of social mobility and a passion for promoting diversity, equality and inclusion
  • Postgraduate research degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Candidates must have the right to work and be resident in the UK.

Salary

£32,400 - £37,700 pro rata per annum depending on experience.
