About the role

Join our Desktop Services Team within the Customer Services Group in IT Services, located at our Banbury Road office

Responsibilities will include

  • Providing 2nd level technical support to users of the Managed Desktop Service.
  • Responding to IT incidents and service requests according to agreed service standards.
  • Developing and writing technical documentation.
  • Explaining provided services and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Delivering support via phone and remote support tools.
  • Collaborating closely with team members and Service Desk staff who provide 1st line support.
  • Working across all supported departments and interacting with University staff at all levels.

  • Ensure colleagues and users are kept informed of progress.
