We have an exciting opportunity to join the Desktop Services team within IT Services Department as a Desktop Service Improvement Officer.

About the role

As a Desktop Service Improvement Officer, you will:

  • Work within the Desktop Service Improvement Team providing technical expertise and guidance to members of the Desktop Services team, who provide 2nd line IT support to users of the Managed Desktop Service.
  • Support the effective and efficient delivery of the service.

About you

You will:

  • Be a real advocate of excellent customer service and demonstrate a drive and desire to deliver this alongside the provision of professional IT support.
  • Have a strong background in 1st and 2nd line IT support, providing technical expertise and guidance to IT staff.
  • Be a team player but still, be comfortable working alone.
  • Have the desire to learn new IT skills, deliver solutions in a timely, consistent and conscientious manner and be committed to keeping track of your outstanding work, ensuring colleagues and users are kept informed of progress.
