Interview Date: To be confirmed
The GBS (Greenwich Business School) Marketing & Recruitment Team is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced individual to the role of Senior Faculty Marketing & Recruitment Officer. The role will assist in delivering, to a high standard, the faculty’s recruitment and marketing plans, generating prospects and driving applicant conversion. Bringing significant relevant experience - along with a creative eye, a feel for language and an analytical mind - as one of the team’s two Senior Faculty Marketing & Recruitment Officers you will primarily be responsible for: creating a variety of content; organising photoshoots and filming days; the delivery and implementation of paid social media content; managing the faculty’s organic social media channels; sourcing guests, coordinating recording sessions and hosting the Greenwich Means Business podcast; supporting the planning and implementation of, and well as reporting on, digital marketing campaigns.
You will also need the ability and experience to take on, if required, email marketing (CRM) and web editing tasks. You will also support the delivery of events. You will work closely with the team’s other Senior Faculty Marketing & Recruitment Officer, the Digital Content Assistant and placement student as well as others within the wider team. You will also have close working relationships with the University’s Marketing and External Relations Directorate and staff across GBS. You will have experience of working successfully in a marketing environment, ideally in a higher education setting, and you will have great people skills and know how to provide excellent customer service as well as being a supportive colleague and team player. The role requires a high level of flexibility, experience of anticipating problems and identifying solutions, and the ability to manage your own workload and projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and diverse team working in a challenging - but exciting - competitive market within the Higher Education sector.
