An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science to join our team at Oxford Brookes.
Located within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, we provide a pre-registration paramedic science BSc (Hons) programme. The Paramedic Science programme is primarily delivered at the University’s Marston Road site healthcare teaching facilities, offering state-of-the-art simulation skills labs and teaching facilities, and close to local clinical and research sites of excellence.
We expect our Lecturers/Senior Lecturers to undertake academic and academic-related responsibilities to deliver high-quality Paramedic Science learning experiences. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and student research project supervision at an undergraduate level. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the school's management, scholarly activity and developmental ambitions, taking responsibility for a programme role as required.
The post holder must have a pre-registration degree in Paramedic Science or a relevant equivalent, and for senior lecturer a postgraduate degree in a health and social care-related subject. Applicants must be registered with the HCPC as a Paramedic (international applicants are invited if they have commenced the process of registration with the HCPC).
The post is for a 0.6 full-time equivalent position – working three days per week.
