An exciting opportunity has arisen for Multiskilled Carpenter to join the Workshop team in the Department of Campus Infrastructure, dedicated to maintaining the upkeep University's buildings.
You will undertake planned and unplanned maintenance activities in the University's academic buildings, residences, and sports facilities. You will also undertake some low-level electrical work and be expected to take part in the on-call rota that attracts an additional allowance.

Although not essential, we would also value basic knowledge of locksmithing, experience using woodworking machinery and an NVQ Level 3 in carpentry, building maintenance or similar.
The work is mostly on the Claverton Down campus but occasionally in the city locations and a UK driving licence is required.
This is a full-time role working 36.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) although overtime opportunities may be available.
