The opportunity 

This is a key post that will contribute to the ambitions of the University’s Strategic Plan. The role holder will deliver and promote Registry Services, predominantly, within the Appeals and Unfair Practice team at Cardiff Metropolitan by providing quality and customer focused services. 

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. 

What you’ll do – key duties 

  • Assist with the production of communication to students and communications with Schools regarding Unfair Practice, Verifications, Appeals, and Special.
  • Deal with queries and requests for verification of students' qualifications, replacement transcripts and certificates, from both students and external agencies.
  • Deal with all other enquiries, correspondence and internal/external communications from both staff and students relating to specific Registry Services.
  • Take notes at meetings and assist with the writing of reports and minutes.
  • Provide assistance to other Registry Services Units when required, such as in respect of examinations, Examining Boards and Degree Ceremonies.
  • Provide professional customer service to students, staff and all other Creating a positive impression of Registry Services and contributing to a workplace service culture.
  • Finance administration for the department to include processing and tracking purchase orders and payments, administering procurement card spending, ensuring staff have access to current forms and guidance, booking travel arrangements and dealing with HR and payroll admin.

Beth fyddwch chi'n ei wneud - dyletswyddau allweddol

  • Cynorthwyo â chyfathrebu â myfyrwyr ac Ysgolion ynghylch ArferAnnheg , Gwiriadau, Apeliadau ac Achosion Arbennig.
  • Delio ag ymholiadau a cheisiadau am ddilysu cymwysterau myfyrwyr, trawsgrifiadau a thystysgrifau amnewid, gan fyfyrwyr ac asiantaethau allanol.
  • Delio â phob ymholiad arall , gohebiaeth a chyfathrebiadau mewnol/allanol gan staff a myfyrwyr sy'n ymwneud ag ymholiadau penodol gan Wasanaethau'r Gofrestrfa .
  • Cymryd nodiadau mewn cyfarfodydd a chynorthwyo gydag ysgrifennu adroddiadau a chofnodion.
  • Darparu cymorth i Unedau Gwasanaethau’r Gofrestrfa eraill pan fo angen, megis  mewn perthynas ag arholiadau, Byrddau Arholi  a Seremonïau Gradd.
  • Darparu gwasanaeth cwsmeriaid proffesiynol i fyfyrwyr, staff a phob rhanddeiliadarall . Creu argraff gadarnhaol o Wasanaethau'r Gofrestrfa a chyfrannu at ddiwylliant gwasanaeth yn y gweithle .
  • Gweinyddu cyllid ar gyfer yr adran i gynnwys prosesu ac olrhain archebion prynu a thaliadau, gweinyddu gwariant cardiau caffael, sicrhau bod staff yn gallu cael gafael ar ffurflenni a chanllawiau cyfredol, archebu trefniadau teithio a delio â gweinyddiaeth AD a chyflogres.
