About the Role
As part of these posts, you will contribute to the delivery of lectures and seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will also be involved in supervising student projects and dissertations in your areas of expertise. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the School's vibrant research environment, potentially collaborating with existing research groups in Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Internet-of-Things, and Robotics.
About You
We are seeking candidates with PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field with a clear focus the two specialisms above.
For Artificial Intelligence and Computer Graphics demonstrated expertise in computer graphics (using OpenGL and similar libraries) and artificial intelligence is essential.
For computer vision and robotics demonstrated expertise is essential.
The successful candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students at all levels. A strong interest in developing your research within a collaborative team and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also vital for success in this position.
