Leeds Conservatoire (LC) Principal and Vice Principal are seeking an Administrator to support their work in leading the largest conservatoire in the UK. The team is looking for someone able to organise, systemise and prioritise their activity – able to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, staff and external partners.
LC offers a range of Music and Performing Arts degrees across a wide range of genres and we pride ourselves in offering high quality, contemporary programmes to 1400 students. The organisation also offers an exciting programme of events and external public activities across the year. If you enjoy working in a rewarding, busy environment, we would like to hear from you!
We particularly welcome applications from black and brown people of the global majority and those with disabilities and would be very happy to arrange in person discussions about the role and the application process.
Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills that can be adapted for a range of different audiences and an ability to collate reports and data from a number of sources, which can be presented to the team and wider committees. This would be an excellent role for someone with previous administrative experience who is looking to apply these skills in an education and arts organisation or looking for the next step in their career.
We’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expect staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position will be offered subject to satisfactory DBS disclosure.
